My most difficult post
Well, it sure has been a difficult week. Matt was gone most of the week last week even though he was in Terre Haute. He was doing sound for the 7 Project, which is a program that goes to area middle and high schools sharing a "school- form" gospel message and then they invite the students to a night rally to share the true gospel and give the students the opportunity to accept Christ as their savior. It is an awesome program and we are very fortunate that Matt has been given the opportunity to work with this group of people. However, as many of you know doing the Lord's work comes at a cost and we dealt with this first hand this past week. On Tuesday evening I began spotting and continued to do so through the rest of the week. I knew this was not normal and that I should call the doctor. This was a difficult call, but I finally did it Friday morning. They scheduled me for and ultrasound that afternoon. The morning and early afternoon seemed to creep by with much discomfort on my part. Luckily, I was able to spend this time with my sister. Finally, the time came for the ultrasound and my mom took me since Matt was working. At the appointment I was told that they could not find any evidence of our baby. I was numb and without real emotion for days as Matt and I tried to understand. We both went to my doctor visit on Monday and the doctor told us that we had in fact lost our baby, whom we are calling Sam (this name in Hebrew means God is God and in Indian means Unknown). Through these past few days Matt, Gabe, and I have been very fortunate to have people around us who love us and are giving us support. I am also very fortunate to have friends who understand what I am going through as they have gone through this themselves. Although it does not make the pain any less we love all of you and are blessed to have you in our lives.

We are praying for you, knowing first hand what you are going though, we know the healing that has to take place. No sentiment can take away the sting, but please know that there are lots of prayers going up on your behalf.
