A Very Special Weekend

I know I am almpost a week late, but this past Sunday was Mother's Day. Although for many people it is one day to celebrate their mom, I got to celebrste all weekend. On Friday, Matt took Gabe and I to Indy. Now don't let him fool you, this trip was not to just for me, it was to get his car worked on. However, it was nice to get away. We went to Keystone mall while we waited and we had some cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory and looked around a little. We also did some shopping in Plainfield and Avon. Then on our way home we stopped at Chuck E. Cheese. It was Gabe's first time at the restuarant and we all had a great time. We took some pictures and I wanted to share some pictures of the family enjoying the games and rides.

Needless to say we were all a little tired after such a big day, but we only caught one family member asleep.
Early Saturday morning we got up to take Matt's car to get the new sterio put in and went to really celebrate Mother's Day. Matt took me to breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then we went shopping at the mall. I picked out a new pair of shoes for myself and found some deals for my mom for her gift. Then I went to get my toes done with my mom and sisters, which we had never done together before. It was a very relaxing afternoon. Oh and we also got a new flat screen TV for the living room. It is super nice and we will soon be watching some shows in HD. This maay not mean anything to most of you, but if you know this right up Matt's alley.
On Sunday we went to church, which was all about moms. After church we went to my sister's house for lunch with the rest of the family. It was nice to have a big family lunch. Matt got dessert for the day. He got ice cream cake (my suggestion) and a treats-a-pizza. He said the picture on the cake looked like Gabe and I. Here is a picture for you to see. After lunch and dessert we went home to rest before the big Survivor finale at my mom's house. It was a busy weekend, but it was very fun!
