I know it is June already, but I wanted to update everyone on what has been going on around here in the past month. Actually we have just been busy with life: working, mini-vacation, and parties.
Matt is still working at Parsons and doing sound jobs on the side. Although he had been gone a lot he is enjoying doing the side jobs he has been doing. As of right now he had a job this weekend and then we may have a few weekends to do other things.
Over Memorial Day weekend Matt and I took the kids to Holiday World with another couple and their boys. We went to the park for 2 days and stayed at Santa's Lodge. The hotel was right by the park, but it was not super nice so we'll have to see if we would stay there again or not. We had a lot of fun and actually rode quite a few rides. I will have to post pictures at a later time of Gabe on some of the rides and Beka just enjoying the change of scenery.
We have also had a lot of birthday parties in the past month. We started the month with my nephews 1st birthday party. Then we had my cousin's 17th birthday. We missed my cousins' 4th birthday party since we were out of town. Finally this past weekend we had two parties for two very special one year olds. On Saturday, I took the kids to a friend's little girl's 1st birthday and then on Sunday we went to the park for the second party for another friend's little girl who also turned one. It has been a fun month as well as a very busy one. Maybe June will slow down soon, but knowing us it probably won't since we always find something to do. Pictures will come soon.
