Like so many other families we know our family is so busy. We think that if this or that changes our lives will be less busy, but this is never the case. When Matt changed jobs we thought that it would somehow lessen our obligations, but it seems we have filled those empty time slots with other things. However, I am so thankful for this life that I have. As the holiday season is upon us I thought I would share some of the things that we are so looking forward to and thankful that we have. I have been looking forward to Thanksgiving. I love to eat and I also have had the opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving twice so far, once with our church and last night with my family. Matt, Gabe, and I will be leaving for Fort Wayne on Thursday morning to celebrate with Matt's family, most of which we haven't seen since last Thanksgiving. I can't wait for them to see how much Gabe has changed. Although I will miss seeing my dad's side of the family for Thanksgiving, it will be nice for the Landin family to see us during this Thanksgiving season. Our family is very fortunate to have the opportunity to share this holiday with our extended family in Terre Haute and Fort Wayne.
We are also looking forward to putting up our Christmas tree to see how Gabe reacts to everything. I am a little nervous because he is so curious. I am sure we will get some fun pictures and I will make sure we post them as we get them. Matt and I are very thankful to be able to share this time with Gabe as he is now exploring and finding new things in his own way. I hope that this season of Thanksgiving find you and your family as thankful for what you have as we are.
