Wow! What a Weekend.

This past week Matt left on Thursday to go to Indianapolis to do sound for the AG youth convention. He has had the privilege to do this the past two years. He of course loves doing this, so Gabe and I go to support him in his endeavor. However, this year Gabe and I had to wait until I got off work on Friday to join him. So we spent the weekend in Indianapolis, going to the convention, shopping, checking out the Colts football field (which was right across from the convention hall), and we also got to go to the Children's Museum on Sunday. Gabe, Matt, and I had a blast playing at the museum and at one of the exhibits there was what was called a Promise Tree. You could type a promise on a leaf which would show up on a TV screen. Matt thought it was cool so he made a promise and then proceeded to take a picture of it when it popped up on the screen. Here is the picture of the promise he made.
I thought it was a very sweet promise.
Then when we got home we put up some of our Christmas decorations. This year we had to put our tree in a location that Gabe could not reach and we did not put out most of our usual decorations (mainly nutcrackers) because we did not want Gabe to injure himself. He is quite accident prone these days. What we did put up Gabe helped with and we all had a good time as a family.
