It's Been A Long Time Coming

Sorry to those who have been checking with this blog and finding no change, but here is what has been going on since I last posted. Gabe went to the doctor because he was wheezing and left the office with three prescriptions. He did a very good job taking these medicines.
Then Matt went to Michigan for a week to do the Seven Project while Gabe and I stayed in Terre Haute. While Matt was gone Gabe and I celebrated Easter with my mom's side of the family. Gabe got to hunt eggs with a few of his cousins. He had fun. However, that night which was Matt's first night gone, Gabe got sick for the first and only time. Then on Thursday, while he was at "daycare" he broke out in a rash, which we are told was a result of him being sick.
On Friday we picked Matt up in Indy and had dinner with some friends. It was a nice evening. Now for the past week Matt has been off and we have spent some time doing some family stuff. On Saturday we took Gabe to an Easter egg hunt. He was not too thrilled that it was so cold so we left as soon as he got a few eggs and a couple of pictures.
After the egg hunt we went home for a few hours before taking Gabe to dye eggs with Gwen.

Then on Sunday we went to church and then to celebrate Easter with my dad's side of the family. Gabe hunted eggs with his cousins Spencer and Gwen. Here is a picture of Gabe getting an egg. We also got a picture of the cousins.Dylan is holding Gabe and Spencer on his lap and Gwen is on his shoulders. Gabe had lots of fun, too bad he got sick again after we got home that night. Monday was a day of doctor appointments. Gabe went for his 18 month check-up. We found out that Gabe had his first ear infection and left the doctor office with two prescrips and two shots. Tuesday we went to Bloomington. Wednesday we went to the park. Thursday Gabe got his picture taken at Portrait Innovations. We also got a family picture taken.
Finally Saturday we went to Plainfield to Splash Island to swim. We also went to Greenwood to get some special treats and to eat at Joe's Crab Shack. It was a great end to a family fun week.
