I'm about a week behind, but I wanted to share about a fun evening I had last weekend. On Friday night my mom got tickets to go to Ladies Unity night at the Hulman Center. Each year for the past five years the Wabash Valley Ladies Unity group in Terre Haute has planned a night for area ladies to get together for fellowship. Last Friday there were thousands of ladies (I would estimate 5 - 6 thousand) at this event. We had a time of praise and worship before the guest speaker took the stage. The speaker just happened to be Anita Renfroe. My mom, sister Brittany and I had a great time laughing and for me almost crying. In case you have not heard of Anita Renfroe before she is the lady who sang Momsense to the tune of William Tell's overture. Also I wanted to share a clip of her I found on YouTube that she performed on Friday so that you can all at least share in some of the fun.
Then on Sunday Matt and I went to a free Dave Matthews concert. Matt got the tickets on Friday night while I was at the Ladies night so my mom watched Gabe and we drove to Bloomington. We went to dinner and then off to the concert. We got to the arena when doors were supposed to open and this is what we saw from our place in line.
Then once we got inside this is what we saw from our seat.

this is before the concert started

this is the stage during the concert
Overall it was a fun weekend, but I found out that I am not as young as I used to be, especially at the concert.
