A Date Night

On Friday Matt planned a nice afternoon/evening for just the two of us. We dropped Gabe off with my mom after she got off work and Matt and I headed off to the nail salon. He treated me to a manicure and a pedicure. It was so relaxing, I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband who would sit at a nail salon for one and a half hours. Then we were off to look at a piano. Matt and I had talked about getting a piano since before we had Gabe and we thought since Gabe was really getting into music it was the perfect time to get one. Matt and Gabe have already been playing a few songs together. I will try to get pictures soon. After the piano shopping Matt and I went to see Seven Pounds, the new Will Smith movie. It was good, but if you choose to see it make sure you take some tissues. After the movie we were planning on picking Gabe up, but he wanted to stay with my parents so we let him and we went to the mall so Matt could do some Christmas shopping. We ended the evening by getting a little dessert and a much needed uninterrupted night of sleep. Thanks Matt for a much needed night out and to my parents for keeping Gabe so we could have a night out.
