Well, as some of you may know since I last posted a lot has been going on which could be the reason I have not posted. Anyway, this post is just an update on what has been going on. Well lets start with how the kids have been. Needless to say like many of you my kids too have been sick so sick in fact that baby Rebekah was in the hospital for 24 hours two weeks ago, but has since been on the mend. On the very day that she was put in the hospital with RSV, I was told that Gabe had his first ear infection. Two sick kids, how lucky am I. So for the past two weeks it has been medicine and breathing treatments at my house. They are both sounding better and acting much better which makes my life a whole lot easier. Oh also the weekend before all of this happened Gabe fell down a concrete step and got a nice goose egg on his head. Of course, Matt and I were more upset about it than he was.
An update on Matt and I. We both have avoided the colds so far and hope to keep it that way. Matt has been busy with work at Parsons and doing a few things sound/media related things in the Indy area and in Bloomington/Nashville. Which for me means a mini vacation. We all went to stay in Noblesville at a hotel this past weekend while he did some work for a church there. It was nice to get away and I wish we could have had more time to do other things while we were there, but there is always next time. We also had to break down and get a new laptop a few weeks ago since out old one would no longer turn on. For some people this would not be a big deal, but for us this meant biig problems since all of the pictures we have of Rebekah were on the computer as well as some important documents that we needed. We just made a short trip to the Apple store and got a laptop that we an both use for a long while and I am very happy with Matt's choice. Another positive thing that we are also looking forward to is our trip to Florida in just under three weeks. I can't wait a week in Florida going to Disney for a few days and then to the beach for the rest of the week. Matt will be working doing sound for an event there, but the kids and I are free to do what we want. I just hope it is nice enough for Gabe to enjoy some time in the ocean. He loves the water and it will be a great new experience for him.
I think that is all that has been going on, if not it is enough information to keep you informed. Hopefully as things slow down around here I will be able to post more often.
