Snow Day

Last Wednesday we had a snow day at our house. Since Gabe had to go to the ER on Tuesday night causing us to get home after 2 in the morning and the fact that we have 10 inches of snow at our house and Matt couldn't have gotten out of the driveway in his car if he wanted to we got to all have a snow day.

After this Matt did have to go out to get Gabe's medicine, but he took my car and was fine. He also went out and shoveled the drive with some help. Since it was the first real snow of the winter Gabe wanted to go out and play. Even though he was not feeling the greatest we got him all dressed in his snow gear and let him ride on the sled around the drive and I stayed inside with Rebekah where it was nice and warm. I did take a few pictures of Gabe with Matt so I could share our winter snow activities.

Matt and the kids outside the door in their snow wear. This is as far as we took Rebekah. A lot of work getting her ready just for a picture, but it was her first winter snow and I had to have a picture so it was worth it.

This is Gabe trying to walk in the snow. This is his first winter that he has actually had snow to play in and boy did he have a rough time trying to walk in it.

We had a great day just hanging around the house and for some of us playing in the snow. By the way, Gabe is breathing better now, but he is still taking breathing treatments.
